Baking with Metals!

This is our favorite part of the manufacturing process, melting with metals!  Solder paste , which is metal in a liquid binder and kept in the fridge until we are ready to use it, is syringed onto the boards.  The components are placed on top of the gray paste and held in place by surface tension.  YEAH for the magic of surface tension!  Anyway….the board is then put into a mid level toaster oven and baked, first with pre-heat then toast.  No pizzas were ever, or will ever, be baked in this oven. We would hate for your neck to smell like pepperoni.  Or our pizza to taste like solder.  Unless that’s your thing, we don’t judge.  Anyway…
